Inspired by Tim Burton’s “Edward Scissorhands”, this collection is an ode to the designer’s 9 year old self, who had to move suddenly from Russia to England, and found herself in a foreign culture with people who she couldn’t speak to, or understand at first.
Yet we all find ways to fit into our environment, mimiking behaviours, style and language to feel accepted. This collection is a rebellion to this, celebrating the singled out, quirky and misfitting characters in pop culture.
